Celebrating Visual Arts at Edmonds Center for the Arts

Edmonds Center for the Arts is committed to the visual arts of our community. ECA has established a Visual Arts Program to incorporate a rotating exhibit of artists in the ECA lobby and gallery spaces

This opportunity is open to all professional and amateur visual artists in all mediums:  painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. Approximately 6 pieces by  the selected artists will be exhibited for two to three months in the mezzanine gallery of the new Edmonds Center for the Arts, a stunning Art Deco-era building in downtown Edmonds, Washington with frequent performances attended by hundreds of patrons. Exhibits may coincide with ECA's presented performances (Fall Exhibit: September through November; Winter Exhibit: December through January; Spring Exhibit: February through April). Artists are invited to view ECA's presenting series and correspond their submitted works to the shows in the series.

Artists are invited to respond to this the Call for Artists by September 15, 2008 to be considered for the 2008-2009 season. Art must be suitable for display in a family-oriented public venue and selction of artwork will be based on quality of work, connection of content, technique, and/or origin of work to stage presentations in ECA's performing arts series, and and variety in types and styles of exhibits.
