Red Kite, Brown Box
Oct. 14, 2017 | 11:00 am & 12:30 pm

Red Kite, Brown Box is a unique multi-sensory experience that brings young audiences into the world of Papa Nick and his kids. The event is designed specifically for children (ages 5+) on the autism spectrum. Specially-trained Chicago Children's Theatre teaching artists gently guide children into a home filled with empty cardboard moving boxes, ideal for climbing and hiding inside, that also morph into magical forts, vehicles, and even robots! Each showing is limited to an audience of just 12 children (each with a caregiver or parent) so that all participants have 1:1 interaction with the artists.

Each child must be accompanied by one parent, family member or care partner. Additional family members may attend as observers, space permitting. (Please contact ECA Director of Programming, Gillian Jones, at 425.275.9483 or gillian@ec4arts.org to inquire.) Performance times on Saturday, Oct. 14: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm.

Tickets $10/$2 Arts for Everyone. FREE Admission for family members/care partners. Purchase tickets by calling the ECA Box Office at 425.275.9595, or buy online through the ticket link below.(Arts for Everyone tickets available through the ECA Box Office only.)
