Actor/comedian Hal Sparks began his professional career in Chicago as a member of the famed improv troupe The Second City. After his successful run with them, Hal moved to Los Angeles and began performing in comedy clubs including The Improv, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory. He went on to host the Emmy-award winning "Talk Soup" on E! Entertainment Televesion and for five seasons he co-starred on the hit Showtime series "Queer As Folk". He returned to his stand-up roots with his recent Showtime special "Charmageddon".
