Aegis is a Filipino pop rock band formed in 1998 (known as AG's Sound trippers in clubs and lounges all over Japan in 1995). The band is composed of sisters (Juliet, Mercy and Kris Sunot) on vocals, Rey Abenoja on guitars (the only male member). Stella Pabico on keyboards, Rowena Adriano on bass guitar and Vilma Goloviogo on drums.

The phenomenal success of Aegis band can be attributed to two factors- their genuine talent and the strong recall of their songs. Almost everyone in your neighborhood, be it young or old, may be familiar with songs like Halik or Luba. The earthshaking voices of Aegis' lead vocalists are just too mighty not to be noticed in a pop-rock arena.
