SheshBesh, an Arab-Jewish Ensemble searching for an elusive balance of East and West in music, embodies two cultures living together in harmony. SheshBesh is comprised of members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra alongside the finest musicians from Israel’s Arab community, SheshBesh is a model of tolerance and mutual respect in a turbulent, violent Middle East.. Prior to the show, there will be cheese plates and other concessions available for purchase in the lobby.

This performance will be preceded by a free Artist Talk from 6:00-6:40 pm. SheshBesh was awarded the European Medal of Honor for commitment to tolerance and mutual respect in a turbulent Middle East. In this pre-show program, the artists will speak to a model of two cultures living together in harmony, and the belief that music can build bridges between people. Moderated by Zaki Barak Hamid.
