The DeMiero Jazz Fest is in its 44th year of providing music students of all ages with one on one workshops and performances presented by world-renowned jazz clinicians, vocalists, and instrumentalists. This year’s DeMiero Jazz Festival evening concert will feature two-time GRAMMY nominated jazz vocalist Kate McGarry, the all-female vocal quartet “säje” (featuring Sara Gazarek, Amanda Taylor, Johnaye Kendrick, and Erin Bentlage), and Seattle’s own Greta Matassa. The evening will also include appearances by the Dee Daniels Scholarship Award recipient Brooke Lambert and the acclaimed vocal jazz ensemble Soundsation, under the direction of Kirk Marcy.
