ECA Presents Joe Kye feat. Molly Mendoza (Livestream)

Born in Korea and raised in Seattle, violinist-looper and vocalist Joe Kye/strong>has drawn rave reviews since launching his music career in 2013.Drawing upon his migrant upbringing, Kye blends indie-rock, jazz, classical, pop, and world folk to create a unique sound that “leaves everyone in awe” (Sac News and Review).

This engaging, uplifting virtual show is filled with original music, storytelling, and a live guest collaboration with visual artist Molly Mendoza, whose work has been featured in Wired and The New York Times. With gentle humor and a shining personality, Joe invites audiences into his home studio, giving them a tour of his space, and presents a short slideshow of his journey to becoming an immigrant musician, interspersed throughout his immersive, soulful music program.
