ECA is thrilled to present Letters Aloud’s ALL OUR BEST: Perseverance in Times of Struggle as part of our Hybrid Series. Featuring the voices of real people throughout history, the letter writers in ALL OUR BEST tell us of their experiences in times of pandemics and civil rights activism. Most importantly, they tell us how to find hope and meaning… and humor… when times are particularly tough. ALL OUR BEST is the perfect show to experience live during these challenging times!
Letters Aloud connects live audiences to famous (and infamous) historical figures through their intimate correspondence. Letters Aloud is intensely interested in exposing modern audiences to a rapidly disappearing form of communication—the written letter. The eloquence, pathos, and individual experience of history captured in letters is intriguing, instructive, and often hilarious.
This performance is part of ECA’s Hybrid Series connecting audiences with special performances, events, and conversations live-streamed from our stage with a limited live audience. Patrons can choose to purchase tickets to attend live in-person (open at limited capacity, with social-distancing and mask requirements), or to tune in via livestream from home.
