ECA Education Matinee: Cenicienta: A Bilingual Cinderella Story

/

Ten-year-old Belinda is a budding poet and loves to tell stories, but when she’s stuck in the basement preparing for a party upstairs, she has to get creative. With everyday items, a healthy dose of imagination, and a love of poetry, Belinda imagines a bigger world for herself. This bilingual performance is a modern spin on the beloved fairy tale and tackles cultural heritage, family, and the power of language.

ECA Education Matinees are open to school groups, homeschool families and, when appropriate, groups from local senior centers and assisted living facilities. Tickets are $9 per student, with one free teacher/chaperone ticket for every 10 student tickets sold.

ECA offers $2 Arts for Everyone tickets to schools with financial need and provides transportation subsidies through the Aunt Bette’s Bus Fund.

Please fill out the Matinee Ticket Request Form to make a reservation for your group, or contact Nick Williamson at nick@ec4arts.org for more information.
