Avast ye matey! It's time to set sail on an epic swashbuckling Dungeons & Dragons adventure across the high seas. Battle pirates, search for lost treasures, and face epic sea monsters all while learning about seagoing life.

Create a unique character and go on your own amazing adventures during Edmonds Center for the Arts' Dungeons & Dragons Camp 2024! Campers will dive deep into learning how to play Dungeons & Dragons (D&D), a role-playing game where kids take part in creating their own dynamic stories and characters. They'll also develop skills like empathy, teamwork, and storytelling, and have the opportunity to learn drama techniques to then act out their adventures in a performance at the end of the week. Students will additionally work on visual art pieces and explore STEAM concepts at camp! Each week we will introduce a new theme. Campers are encouraged to enroll in all three sessions of Camp but are not required to do so.

Camps will be led by ECA’s Education & Outreach Coordinator, Nick Williamson. Nick has been developing educational programming for kids for over 6 years and has been playing D&D for 4 years. He believes the best kind of learning happens when everyone feels valued and is having fun! He is excited to be leading D&D camp again this year and see all the amazing ideas the campers have!

SUPPLIES:

Campers should bring a water bottle, bagged lunch, and active clothing for outside activities during breaks.

*ECA is proud to offer need-based scholarships covering up to 100% of camp tuition through the Nancy Bittner Scholarship Fund. If you have any questions about scholarships or financial aid, please contact Education & Outreach Coordinator, Nick Williamson, at nick@ec4arts.org.
