His latest album, Chasing the Sun, co-produced with Colin Linden, features standout guests like Lucinda Williams, Darryl Jones, Charley Drayton, Charlie Musselwhite, and the McCrary Sisters. Since his record-breaking 1988 debut and early hits such as “Voodoo Thing,” “Five Long Years,” and “Just Came Back,” he has built a career rich with highlights, from jump-starting the swing revival with his Little Big Band to earning international blues accolades for Blue Highways.
