Edmonds Center for the Arts’ Creative Aging Division includes the award-winning Dementia-Inclusive Workshop Series and the innovative Window to the Arts program, both designed to enrich the lives of older adults and their communities.
Through professional performances, music therapy workshops, creative activities, and social engagement opportunities, these programs foster connection, joy, and accessibility for individuals experiencing memory loss, their caregivers, and senior living residents.

Dementia-Inclusive Workshop Series
ECA’s award-winning Dementia-Inclusive Series provides free creative and social enrichment programs for individuals experiencing early-stage memory loss, their caregivers, families, and friends. The workshops are a collaborative effort involving senior services organizations, eldercare and memory care professionals, and arts groups in the Puget Sound region.

Window to the Arts
Launched by ECA in 2020, Window to the Arts began as outdoor performances bringing live music to older adults in assisted living and skilled nursing facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, the program has evolved into a comprehensive model of care, featuring professional performances, music therapy workshops, and personalized serenades to enrich the lives of residents.
