ECA is partnering with SilverKite Community Arts LLC to offer a variety of free arts activities, from music-making to movement and visual arts!
Join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 AM from October through March for this distinctive Dementia Inclusive program.
Each session kicks off with a 10-minute artistic activity that fosters connections between all participants. After the warm-up activity, the classes are divided into two tailored groups, one for individuals with early-stage memory loss and the other for caregivers and peer support navigators.
Each group, close in distance, explores a 45-minute arts learning experience that can range anywhere from movement to music making. Groups are facilitated by two highly specialized SilverKite Teaching Artists and are supported by ECA staff. As the morning ends, the two tailored groups reunite for a shared reflective session that provides opportunities to strengthen bonds and share insights on their artistic day.
