Education & Outreach

Edmonds Center for the Arts (ECA) is committed to expanding the reach and impact of our performances by actively engaging students, teachers, and community members of all ages in Education & Outreach.

All in-person Education & Outreach programs are on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions. As the situation develops, we will update our programming according to the WA State Reopening Guidance. In the meantime, please see our Kidstock! @Home and Dementia-Inclusive pages for free, virtual programming during the 2020/21 season. ECA’s Education & Outreach programs include :

  • Education Matinees – Theatre, music, dance and science performances welcoming school groups and homeschool families. Education Matinees align with state curriculum standards, and provide students the invaluable opportunity to experience the arts live.
  • Saturday Matinees – Diverse and exciting arts experiences for all-ages, including music, puppet theatre, dance and film!
  • Arts for Everyone – ECA’s $2 ticket program for low-income students, families and older adults.
  • Kidstock! @ Home – ECA’s annual, free family arts celebration.
  • Artist Residencies & Outreach – Interactive outreach opportunities with ECA Presented artists, in the schools and other community hubs.
  • Summer Arts Enrichment Camps – Week-long programs that span a diverse range of performing arts disciplines.
  • Dementia-Inclusive Series – Arts engagement programs designed to engage individuals with memory loss and their loved ones.
  • Digital Residencies & Resources – FREE digital performing arts residencies including performances, workshops, and study guides.
