Education & Outreach

Edmonds Center for the Arts (ECA) is committed to expanding the reach and impact of our performances by actively engaging students, teachers, and community members of all ages in Education & Outreach. Each year, over 10,000 people participate in these programs, both at ECA and offsite in schools and community venues.

ECA’s Education & Outreach programs include :

  • WE SPEAK Student Competition
  • Education Matinees – Theatre, music, dance and science performances welcoming school groups and homeschool families. Education Matinees align with state curriculum standards, and provide students the invaluable opportunity to experience the arts live.
  • Saturday Matinees – Diverse and exciting arts experiences for all-ages, including music, puppet theatre, dance and film!
  • Arts for Everyone – ECA’s $2 ticket program for low-income students, families and older adults.
  • Kidstock – ECA’s annual, free family arts celebration.
  • Artist Residencies & Outreach – Interactive outreach opportunities with ECA Presented artists, in the schools and other community hubs.
  • Summer Arts Enrichment Camps – Week-long programs that span a diverse range of performing arts disciplines.
  • Dementia-Inclusive Series – Arts engagement programs designed to engage individuals with memory loss and their loved ones.
